Lynx Kitchen is working with the hood manufacturer KRO | Bevent Rasch on a standardised kitchen hood with Lynx built in. The hood fits nearly any kitchen and saves both time and cost. The calculator now also shows how Lynx is placed when the ceiling height is low.
Lynx Kitchen is starting a collaboration with KRO | Bevent Rasch. Together we are making a standardised kitchen hood with Lynx built in. The goal is one hood that fits nearly any kitchen, and that does not have to be designed again for every project.
One standard hood instead of special solutions
Today, many kitchen hoods are designed and adapted for each kitchen. That takes time in the design phase, and it gives more things that can go wrong on site. With a standardised hood, the solution is known in advance. The design engineer specifies one hood, the contractor installs one unit, and the delivery can be planned earlier. This saves both time and cost.
Fits where the ceiling is low
One hood can fit nearly everywhere because Lynx can be placed in more than one way. When there is enough height above the hood, Lynx stands on top. When the ceiling is low, Lynx lies down and comes in from the left, the back or the right. Lynx has the same efficiency in any orientation. It can also be installed at any angle between vertical and horizontal.

Standing Lynx units need about 85 cm above the hood. When there is less space, the figure turns, and you see the hood from above. All units are at the back to start with. You decide how many come in from the left and the right, because every kitchen has its own obstacles, such as a beam, a duct or a wall that cannot be moved. The calculator shows how many units there is room for on each side, and marks the side in red when it gets too tight.
The calculator gives an estimate, not a finished design. When the numbers are ready, you send them to KRO | Bevent Rasch with one click. Lying Lynx units always get an extra review with them before the quotation.
